SAFE USE OF COMBUSTIBLES
•
Fuel and oil are dangerous. Do not inhale or swallow them. If you ingest fuel and/or oil, go to your doctor quickly.
If you accidentally come into contact with fuel or oil, clean it with plenty of soap and water as soon as possible.
If you then feel your eyes or skin irritated, consult a doctor immediately.
•
Fuel and oil are dangerous and highly flammable chemicals. If they ignite, extinguish the fire with a dry powder
extinguisher.
•
Do not spill fuel or smoke near the machine.
•
Always turn off the engine before refuelling.
•
Always refuel in well-ventilated areas, and never with the engine hot or running.
•
If you find a fuel leak, do not start or run the engine until the leak has been repaired.
•
Add fuel before starting the machine. Never add fuel when the engine is running, or when the machine is hot.
•
Do not refuel a hot engine.
•
Make sure that the fuel cap is properly closed.
•
Fuel stored in the carburettor for long periods of time can cause a hard start and could also lead to further repairs
and maintenance.
•
Always store the fuel in approved containers.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
•
Do not expose this machine to rain or wet conditions.
•
The socket of this machine must match the base of the electric plug. Never modify the outlet in any way.
Unmodified plugs and matching bases will reduce the risk of electric shock.
•
Do not leave this machine at night in the street since the humidity of the night can damage the machine.
•
Do not touch the machine and connections with wet hands.
•
Never use this machine with a damaged power outlet. Check the power supply before connecting the machine.
If you discover any damage, send your machine to the Official Technical Service for repair.
•
Do not use this machine if the switch does not change between "ON" and "OFF". Any machine that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
CARE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE OF THE MACHINE
•
Use this machine, accessories, supplies, etc. in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended,
taking into account the working conditions and the work to be carried out.
•
Check that all safety elements are installed and in good condition.
•
Do not force this machine. Use this machine for the correct application.
•
Turn off the machine and disconnect the spark plug before making any adjustments, refuelling, changing
accessories, cleaning, transporting or storing this machine. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting this machine accidentally.
•
Reduce the speed engine when you turn the engine off, if the engine is equipped with a fuel shut-off valve, cut
off the fuel when the engine has stopped.
•
Do not tilt the machine with the engine on.
•
Store inactive tools out of the reach of children.
SERVICE
•
Have the machine checked periodically by a qualified technician using only original spare parts. Before any doubt,
contact the Official Technical Service.
