MAINTENANCE
• Before carrying out any maintenance or repair work on the machine, make sure that the engine is off and remove
the spark plug connector.
• Carry out all maintenance work on the machine on a flat and clear surface.
• Use only original spare parts for this machine in order to obtain best machine performance.
• Do not adjust the carburettor. If necessary, take your machine to the Official Technical Service. The adjustment of
the carburettor is complicated and should only be done by the Official Technical Service.
• Incorrect adjustment of the carburettor can cause damage to the engine and would be grounds for voiding the
warranty.
ATTENTION: Removal of safety devices, improper maintenance, and replacement of items with non-
original spare parts can cause bodily injury.
Carry out the following maintenance program with the frequency indicated on the table below:

CARE AND MAINTENANCE AFTER USE
CLEANING
Whenever possible, clean the machine immediately after work. Keep the machine clean especially the fuel tank area
and the areas near the air filter.
OIL LEVEL CHECK
Place the machine on a flat, horizontal and clear surface. Unscrew the oil filler cap. Wipe the oil dipstick with a cloth.
Insert the dipstick without screwing the oil cap. Remove and check the mark that the oil has left on the dipstick. The mark
left by the oil should be as close as possible to the maximum mark.
If the mark is below the minimum add a little more oil and check again. If the mark is above the maximum you will have
to remove oil from the crankcase. To do this, tilt the machine to one side, so that the air filter is upwards, and let out a
little oil (Place a container at the end of the tube to prevent oil from spilling over the machine or the floor).
