The governor does not form part of the burner accessories and therefore technical instruc-
+
tions on the adjustement of this component have been omitted. However it is important
to know the folling points:
1-The gas pressure in the gas-mains must not exceed the maximum permitted pressure
for the governor.
2-Every governor is furnished with several springs, usually identified by their colour, each
allowing a range of setting.
It is necessary to select the correct spring to suit the pressure required on the burner.
Once connected the burner to the gas pipe make sure that there are no leakages.
Air bleed the pipe through the pressure gauge fixing point and check the pressure with a pressure gauge. Turn
the thermostats to the desired temperature. The burner will purge for about 30 sec. At this point the gas valve
opens and the transformer ignites. Control the gas flow in the gas meter and adjust the needed quantity of gas
operating on the gas valve. Adjust the needed quantity of air, operating on the air regulator.
In case of no ignition the burner goes to lock-out time is less than one sec.
In case of extintion of the flame while operating lock-out time is less than one sec.
In case of lack or descreasing of air pressure, the air pressure switch shutts off the gas valve.

BURNER START-UP
SOLENOID GAS VALVE
Max output adjustment is
to be made by inserting
and elbow spanner in the
socket S situated at the
bottom of the valve and
turning to the left to
increase output, to the
right to reduce it.
For gas output adjust-
ment, remove the cap T
and insert the spanner on
the pin B turning on the
requested direction. To
reduce firing output
screw it up, to increase,
unscrew it.

output, turn knob clockwise,
to increase it turn knob coun-
ter-clockwise. Tighten the
screw B. For fast opening
adjustment, remove the cap T
and insert the spanner on the
pin H turning on the reque-
sted direction. To reduce
firing output screw it up, to
increase, unscrew it.
