longer time. Because the pump continues to run,
a little noise might be generated when there is no
liquid, but this will not cause any damage to the
pump.
When you use the pump in autostart mode, make
sure that the area from which you want to pump
off the water is large enough. In autostart mode,
use the non-return valve (7) in the universal hose
connection (1). The pump cannot be used in au-
tostart level 1 (15 mm) in the case of small shafts
or vessels. The pump will switch on repeatedly
due to the small quantities of water fl owing back
out of the pump. Use a higher autostart level ac-
cordingly.
Application 3:
The pump can be used in autostart mode when
the initial water level is higher than the preset au-
tostart level. Regardless of the selected autostart
level, the pump will pump off the water until 1 mm
is left and will then continue to run for approxi-
mately another 15 seconds and will then switch
off automatically.
In dirty water mode (35 mm) the pump will switch
off at 40 mm.

8.1 Cleaning
•
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
•
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
•
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
GB
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Cleaning the impeller
If a lot of deposits collect in the intake housing,
the bottom part of the equipment must be dis-
mantled as follows:
•
Undo the three locking screws (Fig. 4/Item B)
and remove the intake cage.
•
Clean the impeller wheel with clear water.
•
Assemble in reverse order.
8.3 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
8.4 Ordering replacement parts:
