POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
Battery-related safety instructions
■ The built-in battery must only be replaced by a qualified service provider using the exact
same or equivalent type battery. Incorrect battery installation could lead to an explosion.
■ Keep the unit in a temperate climate. High temperatures can damage the AirHood's
performance and reduce the battery's lifespan. Exposure to low temperatures and then
warmer temperatures can cause condensation inside the unit that may damage the
electronic circuits.
■ Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting
of a battery, can result in an explosion.
■ Danger of explosion! A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure, extremely high
temperatures or intense heat sources such as direct sunlight or naked flames may result
in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
