According to U.S. Code of Federal Regulation 40 Part 82, this freezer employs the natural hydrocarbon refrigerant R290.
Because of the nature of hydrocarbon refrigerants, for mechanical repair, such as recharge or compressor replacement,
should only be carried out by a certifi ed refrigeration technician. The safety of this equipment is listed by Intertek (ETL)
under Standard UL471, section SB – "natural refrigerant".
