Figure 8
Sleep mode (energy saving)
The detector will enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity to save
power. The LCD screen will go dark and only the blue LED indicator will
light. The equipment can be reactivated and returned to work mode by
touching any key or by entering a banknote. If the detector is in sleep
mode on battery power only, it will automatically turn off after 15 minutes
of non-use.
Message from battery status
The battery status symbol is displayed in the upper right corner of the
screen. When the symbol changes from empty to full, it means that the
battery is charging. If the battery is too low, the detector will turn off
automatically. If the detector does not have a built-in battery, the battery
status symbol will not be displayed.
Software update
This equipment can be updated very easily using a micro SD card.
Insert the micro SD card into the micro-SD card slot on the back of the
detector. Now press and hold the MODE and ON / OFF keys
simultaneously, it will output '------' in two rows (you can release the keys
now). The software is downloaded to the machine automatically. After the
update, the detector will beep 2 times and automatically turn off.
You can also do the update by USB port using a mini USB USB
cable.
