"Power Boost" button
Pressing the "Power Boost" button 6 activates
the "Power Boost" charging mode (rapid
charging). The button can be pressed either
before or after the battery has been inserted
into the charger. The "Power Boost" button
lights up red when the "Power Boost" charging
mode (rapid charging) is enabled. Pressing
on the "Power Boost" button again returns the
charger to the Standard Charging Mode.
Once the rapid charge has finished (at around
50% battery capacity), the light on the "Power
Boost" button will turn off and the battery will
continue to charge up to around 80% battery
capacity.
Only compatible batteries are able to rapid charge
in "Power Boost" mode. See table on page 6 for
approximate charging times with "Power Boost"
mode.
Indicator Lights
CHARGING INDICATOR
In standby mode, the bottom LED on the battery
charging indicator 7 is continuously lit green.
The five green LEDs indicate the
battery's state of charge during and
after charging. Each continuously lit
LED represents a battery capacity of
approximately 20%. Each flashing LED
represents the maximum level of charge that will
be achieved in the cur rent charging
mode."Power Boost" mode (first 50%) three
LEDs lit (continuous or flashing). Lifetime Mode
and second stage of "Power Boost" mode (50%-
< 20% 20%
80%) four LEDs lit (continuous or flashing).
Standard mode five LEDs lit (continuous or
flashing).
ERROR INDICATOR
The continuous red light 5 indicates that
the temperature of the battery is
outside the permitted charging

The flashing red light 5 indicates that
the battery or charger needs to be
serviced.
CONNECTION STATUS INDICATOR
The flashing blue light 4 indicates that
there is a connection to your mobile
device and/or data transfer is in
progress.
Audio signal
The audio signal can be switched on or off via
the Bosch ToolBox app.
When the audio signal is switched on, the
charger emits a short tone once the specified
charging cycle is complete.
When the Bosch Toolbox app is used to restore
the charger to factory settings a longer tone is
emitted.
Restoring factory default settings
If the "Power Boost" button 6 is held down for
five seconds, the charger is restored to factory
default settings. The "Power Boost" button will
flash and a long audio signal is emitted.
Factory default settings can also be restored
using the Bosch Toolbox app.
