- Make sure that the blades are correctly aligned.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off button.
- Move the shaving heads over the skin using gentle circular move-
ments.
- Go against the direction of the facial hair growing, or shave in the
same direction if your skin is sensitive.
- For trimming the sideburns and moustache, push down the pop-up
trimmer slider (G) and move it downwards applying gentle pressu-
re. (Fig. 1)
- NB: The LED display will turn off after 8 seconds of operation.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE:
- Turn the appliance off using the on/off button.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Clean the appliance.
- Put on the protective cover.
TRAVEL LOCK
- To block the appliance, press the On/Off button (E) for 3 seconds
and a padlock will blink on the display along with a beep. (Fig. 7)
- To unlock, press and hold the On/Off button (E) and after three se-
conds the appliance will start. During those 3 seconds, a padlock
(2) will blink along with a beep. (Fig. 7)
CLEANING:
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool befo-
re undertaking any cleaning task.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of
washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as
bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place
it under running water.
- During the cleaning process, take special care with the blades, as
they are very sharp.
- If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface
may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance's
useful life and could become unsafe to us.
FOR A DEEP CLEANING:
- Press the release button to open the shaving unit. (Fig. 2)
- Turn the lock counterclockwise and then pull upwards to remove
the retaining frame. (Fig. 3)
