the deep-frying basket.

5. Set the temperature control knob 5 to the desired position to set the temperature
(see chapter "Cooking times, temperatures and quantities").
6. Set the timer 4 to the desired position to set the cooking time and start the
cooking process. If you have not heated up the product beforehand, let the food
cook for 3 minutes longer.
The cooking process is started. The operating light 1 lights up green and the
heating light 3 lights up red. As soon as the product has reached the set
temperature, the heating light goes out.
During cooking, the heating light switches on and off as the thermostat
maintains the set temperature.
7. Depending on the food being cooked, it should be shaken or turned halfway
through cooking to ensure even cooking:
•
Pull the frying basket out of the product by the handle.
•
Gently shake the frying basket to turn the food.
•
Push the frying basket back into the product completely.
8. When the set cooking time has elapsed, a beep sounds and the product switches
off. The operating light and the heating light go out.
9. Disconnect the product from the mains.
10. Pull the frying basket out of the product by the handle and place it on a heat-
resistant surface.
11. Remove the food from the frying basket. Do not turn the frying basket upside
down, otherwise any oil that has collected at the bottom of the frying basket will
spill onto the ingredients. Use a grill to remove e.g. larger pieces of meat. Use grill
tongs to remove larger pieces of meat, for example.
Automatic switch-off
The product is equipped with a timer 4 . It switches off automatically when the timer
has counted down the time to 0. If you want to end the cooking process prematurely,
turn the timer to 0 manually.
