5.1
Switch the power on
Connect the power plug to the mains alongside the pitch.
5.2
Switch the power off
1. Turn the main switch to the "OFF" position to turn off the lights.
2. Wait a minimum of 30 minutes to allow the lights to cool down.
3. Unplug the power plug from the mains.

Leave the lights switched off for at least 30 minutes before you switch them
back on.
Only disconnect the unit from the mains when the lights are off.
Switch off the unit and disconnect all cables before moving the unit.
Always use wheel blocks to secure the unit in place after moving.
Do not place any cables directly below the lights. The heat of the lights could
cause the cables to melt.
Do not touch the light bulbs during and shortly after operation. The light
bulbs are hot and will cause burns when touched.
Make sure that the surface beneath an operational unit is clear from objects
that will be damaged (e.g. cables that will melt) by the heat of the lights.
When watering the pitch, prevent the light bulbs from getting in contact with
the water. Water could damage the heated light bulbs.
