• Thread the belt from the Maxi-Taxi (with the clasp) through the loop of the strap which fits between the legs (L).
• Place the child in the Maxi-Taxi and fasten the belt clasp (L). Press on the sides of the clasp to release the belt
(L-1 and L-2)
• The belt length may be altered by adjusting it in the belt clasp (M).
WARNING: Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
Adjusting the backrest

The backrest of the buggy has 6 different positions which may be altered by using the adjusting element on the
rear end of the seat.
From sitting to recline position:
• Press both buttons in on the adjusting element while moving the seat backwards (1).
From recline to sitting position:
• Push the backrest forward.
Make sure that the adjusting element is in the same position on both the left and right hand side.
Shopping basket

The basket underneath the Maxi-Taxi Tico can be used for shopping (up to a maximum of 5 kg). The basket can be
attached/detached by using the press studs (O).
Maintenance
P
Remove the fabric seat from the buggy for cleaning (see removing buggy seat). The fabric seat can be easily remo-
ved from the frame by unfastening the press studs underneath the seat (P). The fabric seat and the shopping bas-
ket can be washed by hand with warm water and a soft detergent (see washing label on seat). Do not use abrasive
detergents when cleaning the Maxi-Taxi Tico.
Accessories
Original accessories such as a sun canopy, raincover and footmuff, are also available for the Maxi-Taxi Tico. Use
original Maxi-Taxi Tico accessories only with the products.

Warranty
• The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and is valid for a period of 12 months. The warranty is only
applicable to the original owner and is not transferable. The warranty is only applicable to products that have not
been adapted by the user.
• In the case of any defects, the owner is required to return the product to the retailer. If the retailer cannot solve
the problem, he must return the product, complete with a clear description of the complaint and a validated
purchase receipt to the manufacturer. Exchange or return cannot be demanded. Repairs do not constitute an
extension to the warranty term.
• The manufacturer is not liable for any damages other than those on products supplied or manufactured by Dorel
Juvenile Group Europe.
• No warranty is given if:
- the product is not supplied complete with the validated purchase receipt to the manufacturer
- defects are caused by misuse or maintenance which differ from that indicated in the instruction - manual
- repairs are carried out by third parties
