INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PREPARATION OF THE AREA TO
BE TREATED
1.
Remove all visible hair on the
skin with a razor before using the
device.
2.
Clean and dry the area to be
treated. Do not apply gels, creams,
lotions or other products before
using the IPL epilation device.
3.
Cover any moles, skin spots or warts
before using the appliance.
TURNING ON THE DEVICE
1.
Insert the plug into the device.
2.
Connect the plug to the power
outlet. The display shows "OFF".
3.
Press the ON/OFF button for about
2 seconds until the display lights up.
4.
Select the desired intensity level by
pressing the same button.
IMPORTANT! Choose the intensity level
to use very carefully. This refers to the
power of the light pulse that is projected
onto the skin during use, from the lowest
level (1) to the highest level (5). When
the level rises, results improve BUT the
RISK OF COLLATERAL EFFECTS also
increases.
Always start the treatment using the
lowest intensity level value! After the
skin
has
become
accustomed
pulsed light, i.e. after 2 -3 treatments,
the intensity level can gradually be
increased.
PATCH TEST
Before using the IPL device for the first
time, you must perform a patch test to
identify the maximum level of tolerance
of your skin to the light pulse.
1.
Identify a small area to be treated.
2.
Select a low intensity level (1 or 2).
3.
Place the device perfectly in
contact with the skin, then press
and immediately release the flash
button (Fig. 7). It is recommended
to perform the patch test with
two light pulses side by side (thus
treating an area of about 2x3cm).
4.
Check the skin reaction after 24-
48 hours.
5.
If the treated skin looks normal, you
can start the first treatment. Do not
treat the patch test area for at least
one week afterwards. If you notice
a skin reaction, discontinue use of
the appliance and consult your
physician.
TREATMENT METHOD
The device works in 2 modes: manual
and automatic.
• Manual mode (precision pulses):
Place
the
device
contact with the skin and press the
flash button to treat the area. This
mode is used on small or hard-to-
reach areas, such as armpits, knees,
ankles, and the bikini area.
• Automatic mode (gliding pulses):
Press and hold the flash button (Fig. 7)
for three seconds to activate the
automatic mode. Move the device
slowly and continuously on the skin
part
of
from bottom to top. The flashes will
than
be activated automatically. Make
sure the appliance is always close to
the skin so that it flashes continuously.
This mode is used to treat large
areas, such as legs, arms, back, and
abdomen.
Do not treat the same portion of skin
more than once per epilation session.
DO NOT OVERLAP THE PULSES.
Warning: if you feel a burning sensation
on your skin, it means that the selected
intensity level is too high, or that the
treatment has been performed several
consecutive times in the same area.
If you feel severe pain, discontinue
treatment immediately and consult
your
physician
appliance again.
