Position 1 (button pushed backward): Low speed (Operation at high load)
Position 2 (button pushed forward): High RPM (Operation at reduced load)
Selection of the operating mode
Always adjust the ring correctly next to the marking on the drilling tool. If
you use the drilling tool with the ring positioned intermediate between the
operation modes markings, the drilling tool may be damaged.
This drilling tool has three operating modes.
• Drilling mode (rotation only)
• Hammer drilling mode (rotation with hammering)
• Screwdriving mode (rotation with clutch)
Rotate the operating mode ring and align the selected mark with the arrow on
the drilling tool body.
Adjusting the fastening torque
The fastening torque can be adjusted in 25 levels by turning the adjusting
ring. Align the graduations with the arrow on the tool body. You can get the
minimum fastening torque at 1 and maximum torque at 25.
Installing or removing driver bit/drill bit
1. Turn the sleeve counterclockwise to open the chuck.
2. Insert the drill bit into the chuck until it stops.
3. Turn the sleeve clockwise to tighten the chuck.
4. To remove the drill, turn the sleeve counterclockwise.
