The filter removes almost all dissolved minerals, salts and
other unwanted substances; salt retention rate 97%.
The addition of magnesium (40 mg/l)* and silicate (SiO
(55 mg/l)* improves both the aroma and the taste of drinking water.

Explanation of terms
RO
• Reverse osmosis
RO with mineralisation
• Reverse osmosis with mineralisation filter
Permeate
• Largely desalinated, purified 'water obtained by reverse
osmosis'.
Concentrate
• Wastewater that contains all the impurities removed from
untreated water.
Membrane
• Reverse osmosis membrane that desalinates and purifies
untreated water under high pressure and flow.
Water conversion factor (WCF)
• The water conversion factor (WCF) is the ratio between the
amount of pure water obtained (permeate) and the amount
of feed water required (raw water, e.g. soft water).

• Use only genuine spare parts and accessories. The use
of other parts will result in voiding the warranty and the
CE marking, and could cause injury.
• The filter set is designed and constructed exclusively for the
intended use described here. Any other use is considered
'unintended use'.
• No liability can be accepted for damage that occurs due to
non-observance of the operating instructions.
• Prevent danger resulting from damaged power supply
cables. In case of damage, the mains cable must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their customer service
department or an equally qualified person.
• The filter set must be connected to a permanent power
supply.

• The filter set must be positioned upright.
• The filter set is exclusively suitable for use in closed
spaces.
• The filter unit must not be opened.
• At the installation location, the filter set must be protected
against mechanical damage, heat and direct sunlight. If
damaged, the filter set must not be put into operation;
otherwise the warranty will be void.
Do not install near heat sources, other ignition sources or
open fire.
• Installation of the tap and the filter set is only permitted in
frost-free rooms.
• The filter set may only be operated with cold water of
foodstuff grade in accordance with regional regulations.
• If the tap water is subject to a high particle load, it is
recommended to install a suitable particle filter upstream of
the reverse osmosis system.
• After being put into service, the filter set must not be
disconnected from the power.
• Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water.
• Filtered water is a foodstuff and must be used within 1 to 2
days.
• GROHE recommends disconnecting the filter set from the
water supply when the filter set is not used for an extended
period of time.
• GROHE recommends not leaving the filter set out of service
for extended periods of time.
