6. When closing and opening the lid, watch out for hot steam coming out of the sides of the waffle
iron
7. Open the top cover (2) and remove the waffles, using only plastic or wooden spatula.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE METAL CUTLERY AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACE OF THE
HOT PLATES!
8. When cooking is complete, turn the thermostat knob (6) to 0, unplug the appliance and allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning (and after baking), pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance to cool
down completely.
2. Thoroughly wash the heating plates (1) using damp cloth or towel.
3. Wipe the external surface of the waffle-maker using wet cloth.
NOTE! Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids! Do not wipe the inside of the
appliance with acute, abrasive cloths or sponges, as this can damage the heating surfaces!
