FR 200, 400 V
Description of function
Before starting put on your ear protectors and protective goggles.
1. Starting (Fig� 11) Before starting, set the depth adjuster to 0 position and then press the
black button on the switch.
2. Direction of drum rotation (Fig� 12) The cutting drum may only be rotated clockwise. Before
starting cutting work, check that the direction of rotation is correct (clockwise). It is possible
to correct the direction of rotation by switching over the phase inverter. Please note the
following pictures.

3. Checking the correct drum direction of rotation (Fig� 13): The fan direction of rotation
corresponds to the drum direction of rotation. The fan must turn in the direction shown by the
arrow.
4. Depth adjustment (Fig� 14): Push the adjusting lever (black) forwards until the cutters strike
the floor surface. (The photograph shows depth adjustment in 0 position)
• Feed: The machine operator must guide the machine at the two handles of the handle bar.
The machine operator steers the FR 200 in cutting direction over the floor surface to be
worked on. The FR 200 is pressed against the floor and the rotating drum works into the floor
surfacing by its own weight.
5. Switching off Set the depth adjuster to 0 position before switching off. Then press the red
button on the switch.
Phase inverter FR 200, 400 V
1. The mains plug (Fig� 15) of the FR 200 features a phase inverter. When placing into opera-
tion, the machine operator must check the correct direction of rotation of the cutting drum.
If necessary, change the direction of rotation by switching the phases of the phase inverter.
Use a screwdriver to rotate the rotary switch in the mains plug through 180°.
