Place the UPS on a clean, flat surface. Place it in an area free from vibration, dust, humidity, high
temperatures, flammable liquids, gases, as well as corrosive and conductive contaminants. Install the
UPS indoors, away from windows and doors. Maintain a clearance of at least 100 mm under the UPS to
avoid dust and high temperatures.

Maintain an ambient temperature range of 0ºC to 45ºC for optimum UPS operation. For every 5ºC
increase above 45ºC, the UPS will lose 12% of its rated capacity at full load. Maximum operating
conditions for the UPS are 50ºC.For best battery life, room temperature should not exceed 20°c.
Above this temperature, battery life will be reduced.

A maximum altitude of 1000 meters must be maintained to ensure normal operation of the UPS at full
load. If the UPS is used at high altitude, please reduce the connected load. The table below shows the
derating factor as altitude increases, with connected loads and under normal UPS operating conditions:

UPS location
The UPS is equipped with a cooling fan. Therefore, place the UPS in a well-ventilated area.
