Never carry your baby in a baby carrier when you are in
a motor vehicle.
Never leave your baby in the carrier when you are not
carrying them. Never carry two babies at the same time
in the baby carrier and do not use two baby carriers at
the same time.
Check on your baby often. Avoid carrying a baby for
more than an hour in the same position. Allow your
child to move. Keep an eye out for signs of compression
and poor circulation. A bluish color may indicate grave
danger. To avoid this, regularly check that your baby's
legs are not compressed, raise his knees, move your
baby's ankles, knees and hips, and shift your baby's
position. If he falls asleep, do these checks regularly.
If you use your baby carrier when breastfeeding your
baby, be sure to release your baby's mouth from your
breast when he finishes drinking to prevent choking.
You must be able to see your baby's face at all times.
Make sure your baby is at "kiss height"!
Read the instructions. To avoid any risk of injury, you are
responsible for reading, watching the videos available on
the website and fully understanding all instructions before
using your EvöAir. Ask someone you trust to assist you until
you feel comfortable. Sit in front of a mirror or a window
to check the position of your baby. You can sit above
a bed or an armchair if you feel the need. Always pay
attention to your baby.
Watch out for heat stroke and cold. Always make sure
that your child is well, are breathing properly and is
neither too hot nor too cold. Do not dress your baby too
warmly, especially indoors and in warmer weather.
Make sure your baby stays well hydrated. In cold
weather, cover baby's head and feet well with extra
clothing and do not extend outings too long. Always
monitor circulation and leg temperature. Listen to your
baby.
WARNING: FALLING
HAZARD
Babies could fall if there's an opening too big for their
legs or from above. Adjust the straps snugly to keep
your baby settled in tightly enough against you. Before
each use, check that each loop is properly attached.
Be careful when leaning forward, bending your knees, or
walking. There is a risk of tripping.
Warning: this carrier is not suitable for use during sporting
activities.
Your balance may be affected by any movement
that you or your child may make. Lean forward
carefully. Keep one hand on your baby when moving.
Individuals with physical issues that could interfere with
the safe use of the carrier - including but not limited to
musculoskeletal, balance, dizziness or alertness problems
- should not use a baby carrier.
Never use a baby carrier when your alertness or reflexes
are impaired due to being under the influence of
substances, excessive fatigue or pain. You are responsible
for your baby's safety and for any consequences that
may arise from unsafe use of the EvöAir. Stay alert when
moving. Do not engage in activities that could cause you
to fall.
