CENTRIFUGAL ELECTRIC PUMP 2PDC SERIES
FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS
Twin-turbine centrifugal electric pump made of AISI 316 stainless steel, especially suitable for the supply
of drinking water, domestic pressurisation, reduced garden irrigation, pressure washing, water treatment,
cooling towers and heat exchangers, integrated into different types of industrial machinery.
1. INSTALLATION
1.
The electric pump should be placed as close as possible to the water level to obtain the minimum
suction lift and to reduce head loss.
2.
They should be installed in dry and ventilated locations and safe from possible flooding.
3.
If the installation is to be permanent, the pump should be attached to the ground or earth using the
holes in the pump bracket.

The suction pipe should be kept submerged 50
cm below the water level, but 20 cm above the
bottom of the water to avoid the formation of ed-
dies or other problems.

The installation of the suction pipe should be: Hs
10- (HPSH) r-0.5-hw (hw 0.5 1.0)
6.
The joints or connections must be absolutely
tight, it is recommended to reduce the pipe bends
to the minimum possible.
7.
To avoid head losses, it is suggested to reduce
the discharge pipe bends and to make the dis-
charge pipe as short as possible.
8.
The piping should not be next to the pump, but on separate supports.
9.
It is recommended to install vacuum/pressure gauges in the suction and discharge piping to obser-
ve the working operation.
