ROOTMASTER EVO III
ANALOGUE CAB SIM DI:
A balanced D.I. Is provided on the rear panel xlr socket. This provides
a post E.Q. Post effects signal. This can be selected using the Balanced
default
setting on the front of the amp.
(OUT)
The output signal from this xlr socket is set to a level and impedance
suitable for connecting directly into a balanced microphone input of a
mixing desk for either direct injection into the pa system or for recording.
Now for the fun part, we have developed a series of filters to offer a few
alternative options on how your Di signal is fed to your monitor mix, front
of house or DAW... These options have been carefully tuned to mimic the
response of our ABM cabinets.
We start with a simple option to engage the CAB SIM DI or the BALANCED DI
output using the XLR DI option.
Then on to the ENCLOSURE options of either PORTED or SEALED, this changes the
resonance of the output extending the bottom end when sealed and the
tightening it up when ported.
You then move on to the SPEAKER option with two simple options of either a
10" speaker or a 15" speaker. Chosen for their different characteristics the
10 sounds as it should tight with a defined mid range,The 15 for its depth
and clarity.

Then onto another next option of HORN with a simple IN or OUT option, this
gives a high end increase around 5k to emphasise where a horn would sit
within a cabinet.
When used in conjunction with the intuitive 5 band EQ this option
enables you to create the perfect on and off stage sound. Ensuing what
you're hearing on stage is felt by the audience.
The Rootmaster EVO III is a new chapter for our digital offering, but still
maintain our Analogue approach to tone.
