OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS

PERSONNEL SAFETY
- Stay alert; watch what you are doing. Do not use the cordless drill driver while tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
- Always use such personal protective equipment as stated in the next section, "Personal protective
equipment to wear while operating cordless drill driver"
- While operating the drill driver, make sure you are in a safe position, keeping balance at all times. A
safe working position and a proper body posture enable better control of the cordless drill driver in
unexpected situations.
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
ACCURATE USE OF THE CORDLESS DRILL DRIVER
- Do not hold the workpiece by hand or against your body.
Use clamping devices or a vice to secure and support the workpiece.
- Do not overload the cordless drill driver. .
- Always check that the machine is free from defects. Do not use a cordless drill driver that has a
defective on/off switch. A drill driver that can no longer be stopped or started is dangerous and must
be repaired.
- Make any adjustments with the drill driver switched off. Disconnect the battery when not used. This
precaution will prevent the impact wrench from being accidentally started.
- Do not modify cordless the drill driver. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and
increase operator risk.
- Have the cordless drill driver repaired only through a trained repair person and only using original
replacement parts. For such jobs, you can contact Beta Utensili S.p.A.'s repair centre.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORDLESS DRILL DRIVER
- While the drill driver is being used, any accidental breakages of individual accessories may cause
pieces to be thrown at high speed. Wear suitable PPE (see next section).
- When using the drill driver, the operator may experience discomfort in the hands, arms, shoulders, or
neck area.
- Avoid contact with moving parts of the drill driver, since these can cause injuries.
- Make sure that the direction of rotation of the cordless drill driver is fit for use.
Caution: If the drill driver is used over a protracted period of time, both the driver and the drill may
become hot. Wear protective gloves.
