Do not use the product in high winds, storms, thunderstorms, heavy rain, snow, freezing
temperatures or severe weather conditions. This may damage the product or cause
personal injury.
2.4 Electrical
If the surface of the product is cracked, turn off the product to avoid electric shock.
Check both the charging cable and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there
is any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired
by authorized service personnel.
Do not immerse the product, charging cord or plug in water. If water does get inside
or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service
department.
Use and store the product so that the cables cannot be damaged.
To avoid electric shock, do not use the product if you suspect the charging cable or plug
is damaged. A damaged charging cable or plug should be repaired or replaced by a
professional (an authorized distributor).
Do not unplug the product by pulling the charging cable. This may cause fire or electric
shock.
If black smoke comes out of the product, unplug the product immediately. Wait until the
smoke is gone before removing the contents of the product and contact our customer
service department.
Do not leave the cable(s) hanging over the edge of a table or countertop.
Do not place the cable(s) on hot surfaces or near oil.
Do not tuck the cable(s) under rugs or blankets. Never lay the cable(s) in a walkway.
Do not move the product by pulling the charging cable or twist the cable.
Make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains
and adapter before connecting the product.
Make sure you do not trip over the cable(s) and that the cable(s) are not kinked, twisted, or
stuck.
2.5 Batteries
If batteries/batteries leak, avoid contact with skin, eyes, open skin or wounds. Wear gloves.
In case of accidental exposure to battery fluid, flush affected areas with plenty of clean
water and seek medical attention immediately. Remove dead batteries/batteries from the
product immediately as there is an increased risk of acid leakage.
If the battery/battery pack leaks, contact your local council or household waste collection
service for information on how best to dispose of it.
Do not break or disassemble the battery/battery pack.
Always check the battery/battery pack for signs of damage or leaks before using the
product. Do not charge damaged or leaking battery/battery packs.
The charger is designed for a specific voltage. Always check that the mains voltage
matches the voltage on the rating plate.
Battery life is best ensured by not charging the product until the battery is empty. Try to
avoid intermediate charging times.
