Positioning the satellites
- Sit in your listening position
- Position the diagram (fig. M, N) opposite your screen
- It will give you the best position for your 5.1 and 7.1 loudspeakers
Positioning the bookshelf loudspeaker (Aria K2 906) on the stand
Firstly, turn the speaker upside down so it is resting on its top (resting on the packing block), taking care not to damage the
cabinet/glass plate or the speaker drivers during the procedure. Remove the 4 screws located underneath the loudspeaker
(fig. O), then place the loudspeaker onto the stand. Fasten the loudspeaker to the stand securely using the screws provided
with the stand (see instructions with the Focal S900 stand).
Precautions for use
The TNF tweeter uses a relatively flexible aluminium / magnesium alloy with a "shape memory" effect to protect it from most
minor household bumps. However, we recommend that you leave the protective fabric grilles in place to protect the dome. If
the surface of the dome is marked, the tweeter could be damaged.
Cleaning instructions
To clean your Aria K2 loudspeakers, simply dust using a dry cloth. If the loudspeaker is marked, we recommend that you use
just a damp duster. The top glass plate can be cleaned using a soft cloth and a conventional window cleaning product.
Never use solvents, detergents, alcohol or corrosive products, scrapers or scouring utensils to clean the surface of the
loudspeaker. Avoid positioning the loudspeakers near to any heat sources.
Choosing an amplifier
It is not an excess of amplifier power that can damage your loudspeaker and drivers, but rather a lack of power. In fact, if the
volume is too high, the amplifier saturates and generates parasite signals that may destroy the tweeter. The dynamic capacity
and definition of Aria K2 loudspeakers are high enough to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of whatever amplifier is
connected to them. Your dealer will be able to guide your choice to suit your tastes and budget.
Cable choice
Choose good quality cables with a cross-section appropriate for their length: your dealer will be able to advise you.
Conditions of warranty
All Focal loudspeakers are covered by warranty drawn up by the official Focal distributor in your country. Your distributor can
provide all details concerning the conditions of warranty. Warranty cover extends at least to that granted by the legal warranty
in force in the country where the original purchase invoice was issued.
