Safety
Ensure that all guards are intact and properly
secured during operation.
Secure that the blower is protected against falling
down upon installation.
Be careful during working on floors with a thin layer
of grain. The grain will make the floor very slippery.
Always stop the blower prior to repair and
maintenance and avoid unintentional start of the
blower.
Never put your hand into the inlet or outlet opening
of the blower during operation.
In case of abnormal vibrations or noise, stop the
blower immediately, and call in expert assistance.
It is not allowed to make any reparations on rotor
of the blower. In case of damaged rotor, it must be
replaced.
16
In order not to overload the blower do not run the
blower at higher speed than it is designed for.
The conveying air is heated while it passes through
the blower, hence the blower housing may be hot.
Care must be taken when touching the blower.
Always secure pipes (and other components)
mounted directly on the blower inlet or outlet by
using clamps with bolts in a way that the pipes
cannot be removed without tools. Always use the
special safety clamp delivered with the blower.
Never use quick release clamps on the blower
inlet or outlet. Unless coming into contact with
the blower rotor during operation has been made
impossible in some other way, pipes attached to
the blower inlet or outlet must have a length of
minimum 800mm with a diameter of maximum
200mm in order to prevent the possibility for
coming in contact with the rotor when the pipes are
mounted. Look in the chapter 'Installation'.
All electrical installations must be carried out
according to the current local legislation.
The blower should be mounted in an accessible
location for maintenance.
The working area around the blower should be
clear and trip free when carrying out maintenance.
Make sure that there is adequate lighting when
working on the blower.
