Adjusting the chain length

Determine the desired length needed for
installation.

Attach the chain (JJ) to the fixture body (B) using
the chain link connector (EE).

Raise the chain (JJ) and the main fixture body up to
the outlet box to determine the desired length
needed for installation.

Identify the chain link that needs to be opened to
remove the excess chain.

Open the chain link using two pair of pliers.

Remove and discard the excess chain.

Keep the opened chain link.

Securing the chain

Slide the threaded ring (CC) onto the chain
(JJ) followed by the canopy (A).

Hook the previously opened chain link onto
the top link of the chain (JJ).

Raise the opened chain link along with the
chain (JJ) and the main fixture body up to the
ceiling and hook it onto the screw collar loop
(FF).

Use pliers to close the opened chain link.
