Self Cleaning:
Set the temperature control to the maximum position, push the steam
adjust knob to the end and hold for 1 minute, this is to start auto clean,
strong steam will be sprayed to clean the steam chamber.
Use this function once every two weeks .
ANTI DRIP
1. T he anti-drip system is designed to prevent water escaping from
the soleplate when the iron is too cold automatically.
2. During use, the anti-drip system may emit a loud clicking sound,
particularly during heat-up or whilst cooling down. This is perfectly
normal and indicates that the system is functioning correctly.
BUILD IN ANTI SCALE SYSTEM
The build-in anti-scale cartridge is designed to reduce the build-up of
limescale which occurs during steam ironing. This will prolong the
working life of your iron. However, please note that the anti-scale
cartridge will not completely stop the natural process of limescale
build-up.
AUTO SHUT OFF
When the steam iron remains inactive, in order to protect it and save
energy, it will automatically shut off. The iron will shut off if it is in a vertical
position after 8 minutes, and in a horizontal position after 30 seconds.
Prior to shutting off, it will emit a beep. There is a red light at the back of
the water tank, and after the shutdown beep, the red light will flash. The
flashing will stop when the iron is reactivated.
Storage:
After using the iron, unplug it, pour out any remaining water (be sure to open
the filling lid for this) and turn the steam control to the minimum setting. Turn
the temperature control to the minimum setting and let the iron cool down.
Place it in a safe, dry location in an upright position.
