Safe operation
• Never immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
• Do not use the unit, if electrical lines or the housing are damaged.
• If a power connection cable is damaged, have it immediately replaced by OASE, an authorised
customer service or a qualified electrician to prevent electric shock.
• Do not carry or pull the unit by its power cable.
• Route lines in such a way that they are protected from damage and do not present a tripping
hazard.
• Only open the unit housing or its attendant components if this is explicitly specified in the op-
erating instructions.
• Only carry out work on the unit that is described in this manual.
• Never carry out technical changes to the unit.
• Only use original spare parts and accessories.
Intended use
Only use the product described in this manual as follows:
• For aeration and supplying oxygen to garden ponds.
• For use in water fountain systems and ponds.
• While adhering to the technical specifications. (→ Technical data)
• During the winter months, the unit can be used to keep the surface of the pond free of ice and
prevent the pond from freezing up. The prerequisite for this is that the temperature does not
exceed the permissible outdoor temperature.
