5.2. USE OF INSTRUMENT WITH HT EQUITEST APP
•
The power supply voltage of the instrument must be:
230/240V ± 10% (207V ÷ 265V) or 110V ± 10% (100V ÷
120V). Do not use external power supply voltages
external from the above ranges to avoid damaging the
instrument

Check that the rated operating voltage value
indicated on the back label should be consistent with
the power supply voltage of the system under test

1. Connect the instrument to the power supply using the supplied
network cable (see Fig.1 - part 10). The POWER LED is steady
green to identify the correct power supply voltage, the STATUS
LED is steady green to identify the operation of the instrument
in Manual mode
2. Download and install the HT Equitest APP on your mobile
device
3. In the "Settings" section of the mobile device, enter the
"Connections → WiFi" section, search for the instrument
"16230_xxxxxxxx" ("xxxxxxxx = EQUITEST instrument serial
number) and activate the "Connection without Internet"
4. Run the HT Equitest APP, proceed with the desired settings
(language selection, maximum measurement limit, Automatic
measurement mode and user data for reports) and tap the "Tap
to connect" item to activate the WiFi connection. Note that the
WiFi LED on the instrument changes from "flashing green" to
"steady green" to indicate correct operation. The instrument
information (model, serial number, FW version and calibration
date) is present in the lower part of the display
5. Connect the alligator clips of the C7000 cable set to the ends
of the object under test (see Fig. 4)
