The vibration level specified in these instructions
has been measured using a procedure standard-
ised in EN 60745 and can be used for comparing
power tools with one another. It is also suitable for
a provisional estimate of the vibratory load.
The specified vibration level applies to the main
applications of the power tool. However if the tool is
used for different applications, with different acces-
sories or poorly maintained, the vibration emission
may differ. This can considerably increase the
vibratory load over the entire working period.
For an accurate estimate of the vibratory load,
times in which the machine is switched off, or when
it is running but not actually in use, should also be
taken into consideration. This can considerably
reduce the vibratory load over the entire working
period.
Define additional safety measures to protect the
operator against the effect of vibrations, e.g.: main-
tenance of power tools and tools, keeping hands
warm, organisation of work sequences.
