5.5. TIPS FOR USING THE SCALE

Place the scale on a hard and flat surface to ensure accurate readings and
repeatability. Uneven floors can affect readings.
■
Try to weigh yourself on the same scale placed on the same floor surface to get
consistent readings.
■
Weigh yourself without heavy clothing or shoes, and before meals. First thing in the
morning is the best time.
■
Do not drop or jump on the scale to avoid injury or damage.

CLEANING AND CARE
■
Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects,
or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
■
Clean the scale with a soft, moist cloth. Dry completely before using.
■
Do not store the scale upright when it is not in use, as this will drain the batteries. Do
not place anything on the scale during storage.
■
Store the device in a cool and dry place. Keep away from children.

GUARANTEES
Guarantees and limitations of liability
Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase, or from the date
of delivery to the customer's home. Depending on the country, this guarantee consists of 24 to
36 months of validity for the legal compliance guarantee.
For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a 12-month
commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the first guarantee, and supplements it.
