• Only use saw blades with the same saw
blade shank as the saw blade provided.
• Hold the device securely by the handle.
• Place the footplate on the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure in the cut-
ting direction. Let the device do the work.
• Switch the appliance off immediately if the
sawing blade jams. Force apart the saw cut
and pull the saw blade out carefully.
• Before shutting down the device, switch it
off and wait for it to come to a complete
standstill.
• Always stand to the side of the saw when
working.
• Avoid over-stressing the device while work-
ing.
Plunge sawing
Requirements
• Soft materials such as wood, aerated con-
crete, plasterboard etc.
Procedure
1. Place the device with the lower edge of the
footplate (14) on the workpiece. The saw
blade (20) does not touch the workpiece.
2. Insert the saw blade (20) in the workpiece
by tipping the device forward until the
device is vertical.
3. Continue sawing along the desired cutting
line.
Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to uninten-
tional start-up. Only insert the rechargeable
battery into the device once the device is fully
prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect battery
can damage the device and battery. An up-to-

Inserting the batteries
1. Push the two batteries (16) along the guide
into the battery holder (7).
✔ You will hear the batteries click into
place.

Removing the batteries
1. Press and hold the battery release (18) on
the battery (16).
2. Pull the batteries out of the battery holder
(7).
Switching on and off
NOTICE! The device may only be operated
with two batteries.
Switching on
1. Insert the batteries (16) into the device.
2. Press the On/Off switch (4).
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch (4).
2. Do not pull the sawblade out of the cut until
it has come to a standstill.
3. Remove the rechargeable battery from the
device if you are leaving the device unatten-
ded or if you have finished working.
Lidl Home App
With the Lidl Home app, you can monitor the
device and control certain functions. The func-
tions may change with updates to the app
and firmware. For more information on the Lidl
Home app, see the instructions for the smart
battery.
Requirements
To find the device in the Lidl Home app, the fol-
lowing requirements must be met:
• The device contains the following battery:
Lidl Smart battery Smart PAPS 204 A1 or
Smart PAPS 208 A1
The device communicates with the app via
the battery.
• The smart battery is connected to the Lidl
Home app.
Connecting with Lidl Home app
1. Insert the batteries
2. Press the speed button (11)
✔ The "Connected" display (10) flashes.
When the device is connected, the "Con-
nected" indicator lights up continuously.
3. In the Lidl Home app, search for the smart
battery that is inserted in the device.
