12. Cooling fan
The portable induction cooktop has a cooling fan, which is automatically activated when
the induction heating is activated. This system serves to protect the internal components of
overheating and also to cool the glass ceramic table.
When the cooktop is switched off, the cooling fan remains on until the ceramic glass table
reaches a temperature lower than 60 °C (140 °F). During this time, the display of the cooktop
indicates "HOT".
13. Cleaning
• Before performing any cleaning operation, disconnect the power cord from the electrical
outlet.
• Be careful not to unplug the power cord from the outlet with wet hands.
• To increase the life of your product and avoid stains, immediately wipe off any liquid or
residue that falls on the glass ceramic surface.
14. Troubleshooting and error codes
The food has burned. Check if:
• The selected temperature is adequate. Too high temperature for a small amount of food
can result in burning.
• The size of the pan is suitable for the cooking that is being carried out.
The food does not heat up sufficiently. Check if:
• The selected temperature is enough to cook the desired load. A very low temperature can take a
long time to heat the depending on the quantity.
• The size of the pan is adequate and it has a flat bottom.
After plugging the power cord into the outlet, the
cooktop does not turn on. Check if:
• The power cord is securely connected.
• Lack of electricity in the residence.
• The circuit breaker is not tripped.
• The voltage of the product is the same as that of the home.
• The electrical outlet has bad contact.
