■ Please be aware that heat is directed to
covered flammable materials, which may
ignite.
■ Safely place the heat gun on the
storage surfaces after use and let it cool
completely before packing it away. The
hot nozzle can cause damage.
■ Place the heat gun on a stable, level
surface when not hand held.
■ Do not let children use the heat gun
unsupervised when it is switched on.
■ Store idle heat guns out of the reach
of children. Do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the heat gun or these
instructions to operate the tool. Heat
guns can be dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
■ Always wear safety goggles. Safety
goggles reduce the risk of injury.
■ Keep your work area well-ventilated.
The gas and steam produced during work
are often harmful to one's health.
■ WARNING! Hot Surfaces. Always hold the
heat gun by the plastic enclosure. Do not
touch nozzle, nozzle attachments or store
heat gun until the nozzle has cooled to
room temperature.
■ Do not direct the airflow at persons or
animals.
■ Do not direct the heat gun air airflow at
clothing, hair or other body parts. Do
not use as a hair dryer. Heat guns can
produce 530°C or more of flameless heat
at the nozzle. Contact with the air stream
could result in personal injury.
■ Do not direct airflow directly on glass.
The glass may crack and could result in
property damage or personal injury.
■ Do not leave the heat gun unattended
when it is switched on.
■ Pull out the mains plug before adjusting
the tool settings, changing accessories,
or storing the heat gun. This safety
measure prevents the heat gun from being
started accidentally.
■ Do not expose to rain or moisture. Store
indoors in a dry location.
■ If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
■ WARNING: This tool must be placed on its
stand when not in use.
