Mounting the cutting blade (Fig. A, C)
• Remove the two screws (22) from the lower
blade guard (12). Ensure to remove the
screws as indicated in fi gure C1, and not the
two (smaller-) screws at the bottom of the
lower blade guard.
• Remove the lower blade guard (12).
• Remove the nut (16) by turning it
counterclockwise and remove the outer fl ange
(15).
• Place blade (2) on the inner fl ange (14).
• Place the outer fl ange (15) on the blade.
• Secure the blade by holding the outer fl ange (15)
with the large wrench (20) and tightening the
nut (16) clockwise with the small wrench (19).
Mounting the adjustable fence (Fig. A)
• Connect the knob (7) with the fence (3) by using
the plate (1 hole with thread). Do not yet fully
tighten the knob.
• Slide the complete fence with (loosely fi xed)
knobs onto the table; the plates on the inner side
of the table.
• Position the fence (3) at the desired distance
from the blade (2).
• Tighten the knobs (7) to secure the fence in place.
Mounting the water tray (Fig. A, D)
Always use the water tray (4) and ensure
the water level is between the indicated
MIN and MAX markings.
It is essential to use the machine with the supplied
water tray. It is essential to use the machine
with the supplied water tray (4). The water cools
the blade, signifi cantly extending its lifespan.
Additionally, the water reduces the generation of
dust.
• Put the machine on a surface and place the
water tray (4) under the lower blade guard (12).
• Ensure that the water tray is placed properly:
the edge of the water tray furthest away from
you must fi t between the lower blade guard
(12) and the metal surface on the machine.
Installing the tile cutter (Fig. A, D)
• The tile cutter may only be used as a fi xed tool
and should be screwed down to a level and
horizontal surface. Please use the mounting
holes (23) in the base of the machine.

• The electrical supply must be connected to a
230V~ earthed wall socket. The mains voltage
must comply with the information on the
type plate, and must be protected by a circuit
breaker.
• Do not use the power cable to pull the plug
from the socket. Protect the cable against heat,
oil and sharp objects.
Only use accessories and auxiliary
equipment mentioned in the instructions for
use or recommended or mentioned by the
manufacturer. Using other accessories or
auxiliary equipment may carry a risk of
injury for you and others.
4. OPERATION
Before starting the cutting job, always ensure there
is suffi cient water in the water tray. The diamond
blade must run through the water. Keep a close eye
on the water level during the job, so it doesn't run
out unexpectedly. Flush and replace the water after
a few cuts, so it doesn't become too contaminated.
(Accidentally) operating the machine
without suffi cient water may reduce the
lifespan of the machine and will quickly dull
the blade.
Cutting with a dull blade, without suffi cient
water, or with very contaminated water may
result in rough cuts and/or cracked/chipped
tiles. For best results: always make sure that
the blade is in good condition and that there
is suffi cient clean water in the tray.
• Wait until the blade has reached its full
rotational speed before starting the cut.
• The diamond blade must NEVER be exposed
to sideways pressure. The blade can shatter
under sideways pressure and the fl ying pieces
become projectiles!
• Do not attempt to cut extremely small pieces
from the tiles. Always make sure that the full
surface of the tile is on the work table. The
supplied mitre guide can be used to push the
tiles through the cutter. In the early stages
of cutting in particular, the tile must remain
absolutely level to avoid the tile moving up.
