Users:
Users have purchased the product and read and understood the instructions, and are therefore able to use
the product in accordance with the instructions.
This appliance may be used by children 8 years and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or instructed
on safe use, and have understood the possible dangers. Children may not play with the unit.
Villeroy&Boch accepts no responsibility for malfunctions or damage caused by improper assembly or removal after
installation. Use only genuine Villeroy&Boch parts. The warranty is limited to repairs or exchange for products
supplied by Villeroy&Boch and only applies if the product has been installed and maintained according to our
installation and maintenance instructions. The warranty is null and void in the following circumstances:
If drilling/installation has been carried out by outside suppliers.

If drilling/changes were carried out that are not in accordance with the installation specifications for the product.
•
If parts are installed that are not part of the scope of delivery or spare parts range for the product.
•
If original parts have been previously modified or converted and therefore no longer conform to the original
•
specification.
The warranty does not cover consequential damage or installation and removal costs.
We refuse warranty claims in the following cases:
Damage or loss due to force majeure such as fire, earthquakes, floods, storms, environmental pollution, gas
•
damage (hydrogen sulphide gas), salt damage and voltage variations.
Damage or loss due to any improper use, misuse, disregard of the operating instructions, or any alteration or
•
destruction of the product.
Damage or loss due to water quality where the product is installed, as well as water stains, deposits or foreign
•
bodies in the water system.
Damage or loss due to a dangerous environment, third party influence, animals or insects, freezing of the product.
•
Damage or loss through unspecific power supply (voltage, frequency) and electromagnetic waves generated
•
outside the product (e.g. by high-voltage lines or accessories).
Damage or loss through loss of battery power.
•
Damage or loss through wear and tear (e.g. dewatering valve, filter, O-ring or seal).
