1. Place the empty aquarium on the base cabinet. Ensure that the pre-installed connections lie in the
section of the base cabinet's top side.
Adjusting/removing the doors
‧ You can readjust the doors (⌦H).
‧ The doors can be quickly removed/attached via the quick-release function (⌦I).
Installing the accessories
DANGER! Personal injury or material damage.
▶ Heed the operating manuals for the accessories, especially the chapters on safety, commissioning
and operation!
CAUTION! Material damage due to overtightening of the hose connections.
Overtightening the hose connections can result in damage to the flat seals.
▶ Only tighten the hose connection union nuts by hand.
Placing the filter basin (⌦D - view from the rear)
1. Place the filter basin ① onto the foam mat in the left side of the cabinet. Ensure that there is a suffi-
cient gap to the side and rear walls.
Installing the ring filter (⌦D)
1. Place the ring filter ② in the circular section in the filter basin.
2. Place the Noise Reduction ③ on the ring filter
Installing the inflow (⌦D)
1. Install the inflow elbow ④ onto the pre-installed inflow pipe ⑤.
2. Fit the flat seal ⑥ (Ø25 mm) to the pre-installed connecting piece. Ensure that the seal is seated
correctly.
3. Fit the inflow pipe ⑦ with silicone tube to the pre-installed connecting piece.
4. Fit the EHEIM compactON ⑧ universal pump into the pump chamber ⑨ of the filter basin.
5. Connect the pump to the silicone tube.
Installing the drain (⌦ D)
1. Fit the flat seal ⑥ (Ø32 mm) to the pre-installed connecting piece. Ensure that the seal is seated
correctly.
2. Install the drain pipe ⑩ with ball valve to the pre-installed connecting piece.
3. Place the drain pipe with the larger elbow ⑪ into the infeed chamber ⑫ of the filter basin and install
the larger elbow.
Ensure that the drain pipe on the larger elbow protrudes above the base of the filter basin.
Installing the emergency overflow (⌦ D)
1. Fit the flat seal ⑥ (Ø32 mm) to the pre-installed connecting piece. Ensure that the seal is seated
correctly.
2. Install the emergency overflow pipe ⑬ on the pre-installed connecting piece.
