5. SPECIFICATIONS OF THE JIG SAW
Power tool designation
The jigsaws are used for sawing wood, plastic, aluminum
and other types of materials (see guidelines for the
use of saw blades). The sawing trajectory may be both
straight and curved; the option of angling the casing
allows making angular cuts.
Soft start
Soft start enables smooth start of power tools - the
saw blade 16 (Fig. 1) is being run up gradually with no
jerks and kickbacks; no jump-like load is imposed on
the motor upon switching.
Break rundown
Break rundown stops the saw blade 16 (Fig. 1) within 2
seconds after the power tool is turned off.
6. ASSEMBLIES
Disconnect the machine from the mains
before performing this operation.
Installation and regulation of power tool elements.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread.
Installing / replacing accessories
After a prolonged period of operation,
the saw blade of the machine can become
very hot, use gloves to remove it. This will
also reduce the risk of injuries caused by
the teeth of the saw blade.
6.1. INSERTING AND CHANGING THE SAW
BLADE
This jig saw is fitted with a "Quick fix" saw blade retainer.
Saw blade installation is described below:
• Fully rotate protective cover 5 (Fig. 2.1-2.2) and
maintain it in this position.
• Fully insert the saw blade 15 (Fig. 2.2) with the rear
section supported in wheel guide 9 (Fig. 1).
• with the rear section supported in wheel protective
cover 5 (Fig. 2.1) and press the saw blade until protective
cover 5 (Fig. 2.1) returns to its original position. Verify
12
that the saw blade is correctly fixed in place.
It is advisable to lubricate periodically the contact area
between the saw blade and support wheel (with a drop
of oil) and the support axle of the wheel itself.
6.2 ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY OF THE GUIDE
FOR CIRCULAR AND PARALLEL CUTTING
Assembly and disassembly of the guide bar for parallel
/ circular cutting and positioning pin (see Fig. 4)
• To install guide bar 18, follow instructions in (Fig. 4.1).
• To install locating pin 17, follow instructions
in (Fig. 4.2).
6.3 MOUNTING AND DISASSEMBLY OF THE
ASPIRATION NOZZLE
• Install adaptor 19 as shown in (Fig. 3).
• Connect the external dust extracting device to
adaptor 19.
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence.
7. ADJUSTING THE PENDULAR MOVEMENT
The pendulum mechanism provides blade swivel mo-
tion with improved cutting and higher work speed
per material.
To adjust with of swivel, use control 10 (Fig. 9). At 0
there is no swivel.
Pendular movement is increased from position 1 to
position 3. Change of setting can be carried out with
the machine in motion.
Read the optimum operating conditions according to
the specific material being worked.

8. ELECTRONIC SPEED ADJUSTMENT
The machine has an electronic circuit that permits a
smooth start and maintains a practically constant speed
up to its rated power. You will find the adjustment wheel
4 (Fig. 1) at the left side of the tool.
Adjustment control 4 (Fig. 1) is used to set the required
speed. Number 1 corresponds to the minimum speed and
number 6 is the maximum obtainable speed by means
of the electronic circuit.
Electronic regulation can be carried out with the machine
running. The optimum number of strokes, depends on
the material and particularly on the working conditions
which can be achieved with practice.
