General instructions.
Equipment installations such as the one you acquire require qualified
personnel to guarantee its proper operation.
It is highly recommended to install a stopcock in the supply line, before the
entry of the equipment or after the regulator in order to attack any contingency.
For your equipment to function properly, the type of gas must be supplied at
the pressure indicated by the data plate located on the side of the equipment,
otherwise there is a risk of voiding your warranty, if you do not follow these
instructions.
These kits can be used with L.P. or with natural gas, at the factory it was
adjusted to work with L.P.
Gas leak check and installation adjustments.
Before starting up and once the connection to the power supply line of the
equipment has been made, you should check that there are no leaks in the
entire network, applying soapy water in the joints, do not use direct fire,
frequently the direct flame does not it detects very small leaks and is exposed
to an accident.
These kits have been calibrated and adjusted for optimum performance, but
adjustments for local conditions should be carried out by qualified personnel.
To guarantee the effective gas supply to your equipment you should:
connect pipe of the same diameter or larger than the equipment inlet, which in
this case is 3/4 "NPT male
connect a low pressure regulator (that supports the amount of BTU´s of the
equipment), at the equipment inlet, to ensure that the pressure is 28 gr / cm
oz / inch2) (11 "ac).
Check specifications for natural gas (4.5 " CA)
