4) Attachment of the floor support
Where should the floor support be attached?
The floor support should be assembled in the center of the stairs. If this is
not possible due to the floor conditions, for example, the floor support can
also be attached to another step. It is important to make sure that the floor
support is not installed more than 8 steps from the beginning or end of the
staircase to ensure that the staircase is stable.
How is the floor support assembled?
The floor support is assembled behind the step. For the step with the floor
support, use screw (pos. 26) instead of screw (pos. 6) to connect to the next
step. In addition to the steps, the upper part of the floor support is also
connected here. Now insert the upper part of the floor support.
Once the staircase has been installed, the floor support is aligned so that it
stands firmly on the floor. Once the staircase is aligned, the parts of the
floor support are screwed together. Use the screw (pos. 27) to do so. To
make the floor support more stable, drive in the dowel pins (pos. 28).
