PURPOSE OF USE

The battery angle grinder can be used for the following purposes:
• Grinding operations
• Smoothing operations
• Metal brushing operations
• Abrasive cutting operations

The angle grinder must not be used for the following purposes:
• use of grinding wheels with any diameters and for any uses other than as stated in the "Technical Data" table.
• Trigger locking with adhesive tape or clamps.
• use for polishing operations is prohibited
WORK AREA SAFETY
Do not operate the grinder in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres, because sparks may be
generated which can ignite the dust or fumes.
While using the grinder for jobs performed high from the ground, take all necessary precautions, to eliminate or
minimize risk to other workers, following the accidental falling of any equipment (for example, isolation of the work area
and placement of proper signs).
Do not expose any electric tools to rain or humidity.
Avoid contact with live equipment: the grinder is not insulated, and contact with live parts can cause electric shocks.
Keep children and bystanders away from your workplace while operating the grinder. Distractions from other people can
cause you to lose control over the battery grinder.
PERSONNEL SAFETY
- Stay alert; watch what are you doing. Do not use the tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication
- Use personal protective equipment.
- Check that the switch is in the OFF position before connecting the battery.
- Do not keep your finger on the switch when carrying the tool
- Remove any adjustment wrench before turning on the grinder.
- Keep proper balance at all times. This will enable better control of the grinder in unexpected situations..
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing,
jewellery, and long hair can get caught in moving parts..
- If any dust suction and collection devices are available, check that they are connected and used properly.
- Do not use the angle grinder if its guard has not been properly fixed and positioned
- Do not place the angle grinder before the grinding wheel has stopped completely.
- Do not modify the grinder. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase operator risk.
