3. Intended use
Always observe the maximum load of the magnet according to the FX operating
instructions. The load limit is determined by the load capacity of the magnet and the
limitation by the workpiece according to FX operating instructions and can be signi-
ficantly lower than the maximum mechanical load of the KT system.
3.1 General instructions before use
• Before each use, check the contact surfaces of both the magnet and the workpiece.

• THE PINS MUST ALWAYS BE SECURED!!!
3.2 Use of the FX-KT small truss
Place the FX-KT on the workpiece. To do this, adjust the FX load lifting magnets on the
workpiece according to the workpiece geometry.
Make sure that the crane eye is proportionally centered to the width of the workpiece to be
lifted. Once you have adjusted the trudd according to the workpiece to be lifted, secure the
pins. Then carry out the transport according to the FX operating manual.
4. Maintenance
The maintenance schedule is in compliance with the rules for the FX-HV system, see page
25.
