Cassette tape exceeding 100 minutes:
These tapes are handy for their long playback and recording time but
be careful about repeatedly stopping, starting, rewinding and fast
forwarding these tapes in short intervals as they are thin, tend to
stretch and may become entangled in the mechanism.
Endless tapes:
Failure to operate these tapes correctly may cause the tape to wind
around the revolving parts.
For this unit, it is recommended to use the tape which is appropriate
to the auto reverse mechanism.
If the tape loosens, take up the slack A
Tape slack may cause the tape to break.
To prevent erasure of recorded sounds
Remove the tabs with a screwdriver or a similar object.
To re-record on a protected cassette, cover the slot with adhesive
tape.
Do not cover the detection holes on high position and metal tapes.
To erase recorded sounds
. Press
SELECTOR
on
the tuner/sound
processor
to select
"TAPE".
. Insert the recorded tape into deck 2.
. Press DOLBY NR so that the Dolby NR indicator ("O10 8") goes
out.
. Press REV MODE to select reverse mode.
. Press @ REC PAUSE.
. Press <I or >, whichever side you want to erase.

improper tape storage:
You can damage tapes if you store them in the following places;
®In high temperature (35°C or higher) or high humidity (80% or
higher) areas
In a strong magnetic field (near a speaker, on top of a TV, etc.)
This can erase a recording.

Cintas de casete de mas de 100 minutos:
Estas cintas son convenientes pues su duracién para reproduccién y
grabacion es prolongada, pero se debe tener cuidado de no parar y
reproducir, rebobinar y avanzar répidamente estas cintas en inter-
valos cortos pues son finas, tienden a estirarse y se pueden enredar
en los mecanismos.
Cintas sin fin:
Estas cintas, si no se utilizan apropiadamente, podrian enrollarse
alrededor de las piezas giratorias.
En este aparato se recomienda utilizar las cintas apropiadas para el
mecanismo de inversi6n automatica.
Tense la cinta si se aflojaO
Si la cinta se aflojara podria romperse.

2. Inserte la cinta grabada en Ia platina 2.
3. Pulse DOLBY
NR para que se apaguen
los indicadores de
reduccién de ruido Dolby ("O0 8").
4. Pulse REV MODE para seleccionar el modo de inversion.
5. Pulse @ REC PAUSE.
6. Pulse <] o D, cuaiquiera que sea el lado que desee borrar.
No guarde las cintas en los lugares siguientes:
Las cintas podraén estropearse si se guardan en los lugares si-
guientes:
*En lugares de alta temperatura (35°C 0 mas) o alta humedad (80%
o mas)
®Donde haya un campo magnético intenso (cerca de un altavoz,
sobre un televisor, etc.)
Esto podria borrar ia grabacién.
En lugares expuestos a la luz directa del sol
