3. General safety instructions for power tools
warning! READ ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire or serious injury.
KEEP ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
The term "power tools" in the safety instructions refers to mains-connected tools (with a power cord) and battery-powered tools
(without a power cord).
1. Workplace safety
1. Keep the entire workplace clean and well lit. Dark or cluttered areas are prone to accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. These
types of tools generate sparks that can be a source of ignition of dust or fumes.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while using a power tool. Distractions can lead to a loss of control.
2. Electrical aspects
1. The male plug on the tool must match the socket. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use plug adapters with tools that
have a ground connection. Modifying plugs and mismatching plugs and sockets increase the risk of electrocution.
2. Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, stoves, and refrigerators. The risk of electric shock is
increased if you are in contact with grounded objects.
3. Do not expose power tools to rain or moisture. The risk of electric shock is increased if you get into a power tool.
4. Do not force the power cord. Do not use cord to drag, pull, or unplug tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, and
moving parts. The risk of electric shock is increased when the cord is damaged or entangled.
5. When using a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using cables suitable for outdoor use
reduces the risk of electric shock.
6. If using a power tool in a place with high humidity cannot be avoided, use a power supply protected by a differential switch. The
use of differential switches reduces the risk of electric shock.
3. Warnings on the use of tools
1. Do not overload the tool. Selecting the right tool for each task increases safety and efficiency.
2. Do not use the tool if the switch does not work. The tool must be repaired in the event that the switch does not work.
3. Make sure tool is unplugged from power before adjusting, servicing, relocating, or storing. Otherwise, damage may occur
during use.
4. Please store the tool away from children. Persons without proper training must not operate the tool.
5. Perform tool maintenance. Always check tools, moving parts and damaged parts as they can cause damage. Proper mainte-
nance can prevent personal injury.
6. Keep the blade clean and sharp. A sharp clean blade can be controlled more easily and will not jam.
7. Read the manual before using the tool. Select the right tool with the right accessory to prevent damage.
