FIRST USE
Charging the device (figure C). Charge the device before using it for
the first time. To do this, connect the magnetic charging cable (6) to
the charging contacts (4) and plug it into the power supply.
ATTENTION! The power supply output parameters must not exceed
5.0 V / 1.0 A (power adapter not included).
Turning the device on. Press and hold the (3) button for 3–5 seconds
until the watch face appears on the screen (see figure E-1).
Turning the device off. To turn the device off, press and hold the
button (3) for 3–5 seconds until the message "Power off" appears on
the screen. Tap
Installing Canyon Life and connecting the device to the app
(figure D). To enable interoperability between the watch and the
smartphone, install the free Canyon Life app by scanning the QR code
that opens Google Play or the App Store. Turn on BT on your mobile
device and connect the watch to the app following the instructions in
figure D.
Changing the watch face. For details about how to select a watch
face, see the full user manual at canyon.eu/drivers-and-manuals.
Navigating the menu (figures E, F). When on the watch face screen,
swipe down to go to the quick menu (figure E-2). From here, you can
view the device charge level and BT connection information. The
current date and weather forecast are also displayed (for updates,
connection to the Canyon Life app is required). Below are the buttons
for switching watch modes and settings:
Power-saving mode.
Turning off vibration; reducing
the screen brightness.
Theatre mode. Setting the
minimum screen brightness,
turning off vibration and
notifications.
Flashlight. Turning the
flashlight on or off.
Full function menu (figure F). Tap the watch face screen once to go
to the full function menu, from where you can access apps and settings.
There are two menu views: a "carousel" view, where the elements are
scrolled in a circular fashion (see figure E-3), and a vertically scrolling
list view.
Short menu of the most frequently used applications (figures E-4,
F). While on the watch face screen, swipe to the right to navigate to the
six most frequently used apps.
Quick access menu (figure F). When on the watch face screen, swipe
left for quick access to the following apps and features: pedometer;

("Confirm") or
("Cancel").
Vibration. Turning

Settings. Opening the
list of additional
functions.
Brightness. Changing
the screen brightness.
