- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with
the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the
appliance is being used by or near children.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the
cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec
Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
- WARNING: This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not stare
at the light source.
- This symbol means: UV radiation, read the safety
instructions.
- Improper use of the appliance or damage to the housing
may cause UV-C radiation to be emitted. UV-C radiation can
damage the eyes and skin, even in small doses.
- Do not use the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
- Do not try to repair the UV-C emitter by yourself. Contact
the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. The appliance
must be unplugged before replacing the UV-C emitter.
- Do not look at the UV-C lamp at the bottom of the appliance,
as it may be harmful to the eyes and skin.
- Do not expose plants or people to UV-C rays, as it may
cause damage. Do not use ultraviolet rays on the same spot
continuously to avoid damaging the object to be cleaned.
- Do not disassemble the UV-C lamp.
- Switch off and unplug the appliance from the power outlet
when not in use and before cleaning or maintenance. Unplug
it when it is not going to be used for a while. Pull from the
plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
- The appliance must be powered at a low safety voltage as
stated on the marking.
