Contact Use

1 . Thread the contact adapter into the outlet on top of the
tachometer . CAUTION: To prevent equipment damage,
do not over tighten the adapter.
2 . Select an adapter . Slide it onto the contact adapter shaft,
aligning the notch in the adapter with the pin on the shaft .
3 . Hold the tachometer in your hand, and press "MEAS" button .
4 . Hold the contact probe steadily and firmly against the object
to ensure an accurate reading is obtained . Read the
measurement on the primary display .
