For the LumiPlus PAR56 to work properly, it is very important that it is fed by a nominal voltage of 12 V AC and that the trans-
former used is of the apparent power required (VA) (depending on model) that allows for a safety margin.
Voltage drops must be borne in mind for calculating the cable cross-section. It is extremely important to ensure that a 12 V
AC power supply reaches the lamp.
It is very important to ensure that the power supply to the LumiPlus PAR56 is never above 12 V AC.
7. OPERATION:
The LumiPlus PAR56 Plug & Play only works using the Plug & Play remote control (Code: 74399). The two must be paired in
order to work (see the Plug&Play remote control manual)
LumiPlus PAR56 Plug & Play must only be operated when it is completely submerged and fitted to the vertical walls of a pool
The projector has thermal protector. Should the protector trip, the projector will flash red. Its continued operation outside of
the water could cause irreparable damage.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING:
Problem

9. SAFETY WARNINGS:
• The light source of this luminaire may only be replaced by the manufacturer, one of its service engineers or a person with a
similar qualification.
• Avoid making contact with the electric voltage.
• Comply with the current standards regarding accident prevention.
• In this regard, the IEC 364-7-702 standards must be observed: WIRING IN BUILDINGS SPECIAL WIRING SWIMMING POOLS.
• All maintenance operations should be performed with the LumiPlus PAR56 disconnected from the mains.
• Do not handle with wet feet.
• LumiPlus PAR56 is designed FOR USE UNDERWATER ONLY and may ONLY BE RUN WITH A SAFETY TRANSFORMER.
• LumiPlus PAR56 withstands to the treatments of swimming pool described next as long as the values of concentration do
not surpass the following values:
Chlorine
Bromine
Salt electrolysis (Na Cl)
Attention : Please note that the Ph of pool water always must be between 7.2 and 7.6.
Cause
LumiPlus PAR56 is not connected to the
mains.
Remote control not paired
The LumiPlus PAR56 does not receive the
necessary voltage
It is not submerged. If it is not submerged,
the thermal protection trips.
Not enough voltage is reaching it for it to
work properly, due to a voltage drop in the
power supply.
Not enough power is reaching the
transformer.
The remote control's batteries are flat
TYPE OF TREATMENT
Connect LumiPlus PAR56 to the mains via a 12 VAC
safety transformer
Repeat the pairing process with the two devices
Use a voltmeter to check that the nominal voltage
of 12 V AC is reaching the projector.
Submerge the spotlights or first fill the pool
before connecting them. They only work if
submerged.
Increase the cable cross-section.
Change the transformer for a more powerful one
(it is important to add up the total VA of all the
spotlights connected and allow for a reasonable
safety margin in order to choose a transformer)
Change the batteries
