SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the
best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this
appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.
In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The
manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use
or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
2.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
3.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
4.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
5.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
6.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which come in contact with food, please refer to the
paragraph "CLEANING" of the manual.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

Warning: Potential risk of injuries from misuse.

The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

The appliance must not be immersed in water.
12.
Before use check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the appliance nameplate.
13.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
14.
To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plug or any part of the
motor base in water or other liquids.
15.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
16.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
17.
The use of attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric
shock or injury to persons.
18.
Keep hands and foreign objects out of the fountain while operating. Check regularly for large chunks of
fruit, etc. falling into the base bowl. These will clog the base of the tower. Chocolate will not flow
properly.
19.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
20.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
21.
To disconnect, turn the control to "OFF", then remove plug from wall outlet.
22.
This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is
well earthed.
23.
Never use near water.
24.
Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
25.
Avoid contacting moving parts.
26.
Unit must be level to operate properly.
