1. Warnings!
• Maximum user weight 100 kg.
• Wear personal protective equipment.
• Adult supervision required.
• It's the parents decision to allow his or her child to
ride this product. It's also their responsibility to judge
if the child's maturity, skill and ability is suitable and
safe to use this product.
• Scooter riding can be a hazardous activity and it is
possible to get into dangerous situations.
2. User guidelines
BERG or the dealer cannot be held responsible for
improper use of this product. Read these guidelines
before use to properly and safely use this product.
BERG cannot be held responsible for any omissions in
this manual.
2.1 Safety
• Product must be installed by an adult.
• Not suitable for children under 5 years old.
• Obey all local traffic and scooter riding laws and
regulations.
• Watch out for pedestrians.
• Remove all packaging before giving the product to
your child.
2.2 User instructions
• Keep these instructions for future reference.
• Users must always inform themselves of the limits of
use in accordance with road safety regulations.
• Only use your BERG product as instructed below. Any
unauthorized use could result in serious injuries to the
user and/or the product.
• Always wear safety equipment such as helmet,
kneepads and elbowpads. Always wear a helmet
when riding your scooter and keep the chinstrap
securely buckled. Always wear shoes.
2.2.1 Before use
• Ensure all locking devices are engaged. Ensure there
are no broken components.
• Check and secure all fasteners before every ride.
• Turn the handelbar to the left and right to make sure
it works properly and smoothly. Also check if the
handlebar is fixed sturdily before riding the scooter.
• Make sure the handlebar, brake and wheels are
functioning correctly.
• Replace worn or broken parts immediately.

2.2.2 During use
• Ride on smooth, paved surfaces away from motor
vehicles.
• Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates, and sudden
surface changes. Scooter may suddenly stop.
• Avoid streets and surfaces with water, sand, gravel,
dirt, leaves and other debris. Wet weather impairs
traction, braking and visibility.
• Practice foot positioning at slower speed untill you
build skill and experience. Shifting your foot position,
or lifting or placing your feet while travelling affects
the stability of the scooter. You have to learn to
maintain control while you move your feet on and off
the deck of the scooter.
• The scooter should be used with caution since skill is
required to avoid falls or collisions causing injury to
the user or third parties.
• Ride at a suitable speed where you have control.
2.2.3 Braking
• Always brake using the rear brake.
• To brake, just step on the pedal at the end of the deck
with your heel. The pedal should be touching the rear
wheel to brake.
• The brake will get hot from continuous use. Do not
touch after braking.
• Avoid excessive speed associated with downhill rides.
• The brake is not designed to decelerate from high
downhill speeds.
2.3 Restrictions for use
• Do not ride backwards at great speeds. Doing this
could make you lose control.
• Do not allow more than one person to ride the
scooter at the same time.
• Do not ride the scooter with only one hand. Keep two
hands on the handlebars at all times.
• Avoid contact with moving parts while riding the
product.
• Do not ride at night.
2.4 Accessories
• Only use accessories approved by BERG and that are
specifically developed for this product.
• For correct use and installation of an accessory
please refer to the accompanying manual.
• All accessories should be assembled by an adult and
supervised by an adult during use.
